So I've decided that blogging isn't my favorite activity to do. I thought it was kind of fun at first because you can write out stories and insert pictures, but then I found myself just loading pictures on F
acebook where I didn't have to write anything. But due to the surge of complaints I have returned again. Since I haven't written since February let me do some catching up. March was a not very exciting month and I was glad to be able to look for ward to April.
I flew out to Georgia to surprise my family for April Fools Day. My dad was supposed to be the only one to know, but then he slipped and told my mom, but that was okay because I still got to surprise my brother and sister. Then they were surprised again when Logan met up with us that weekend. Then we drove down to Florida for a week. We got to spend lots of time at the beach and came back with a wonderful and much needed tan :)
I actually got to be there for two weeks longer than Logan, but we were there together for a week in the middle :) It was nice because Logan had only really been with my family right before the wedding and with everything going on, he really only got to be around them for a day. The only problem now is that my family loves him more than me!
The day I got back we got to go to a Mariners vs. Tigers baseball game which the Tigers won :) Go Tigers! (That was for you Logan, and Shellie if you end of reading this) :)
The weekend after that we went camping up at Deception Pass. It was so beautiful! The weather was great and we had lots of things to do. The campsite we got was perfect! There weren't hardly any other campers around us for the majority of the time. We set up our tent and sleeping bags and went for a walk along the coast. We climbed on rocks and ended up getting soaked by a wave on the way out to them. The we went back and built our fire. I had pre-baked our tin foil dinners so we wouldn't have to worry about getting sick or waiting forever for our food to cook and they were delicious. We played some Italian cards and played with the fire for awhile. We had had a pretty long day so we were pretty tired and fell asleep before our heads hit the pillow. But I woke up in the middle of the night and I could hear something in the bushes. I don't know why this always happens to me! Anyway, Logan reassured me there was nothing, but I know there was something, even if it was just a rabbit. Eventually I fell asleep again. When we woke up we had pancakes and bacon with hot chocolate mmmmm...

After we left the campground we walked along the deception pass bridge and hiked on some trails. Logan was the leader on the trails and on our way back from one Logan walked right over this snake. We were going at a pretty good pace so when I saw it I couldn't just stop, so I screamed of course and jumped over it, he couldn't figure out what the problem was, then I showed him he had walked right over the snake. He just thought it was a stick :) Then we tried to make it move (the bark). But it was scary.

On our way back home we stopped at Mt. Vernon to see the beautiful tulips and daffodils.

I loved April.
Now, if I don't write in here for awhile it's probably because I am substitute teaching, spending time with Logan, finishing wedding albums, talking to friends and family, going grocery shopping, doing laundry, doing church callings, working in the yard, fixing meals, babysitting, sewing, napping, or maybe I'm working on another adventure :)

You had me laughing from the title. Blah-ging. I love it!
Sounds like great adventures! I wish I could've come! ;)
Great snake story! And I bet Logan was just scared to go out of the tent and see what was making the noise (my guess - skunk, so it was probably a good call).
So you know, Shellie read this and wanted to write how much she enjoyed it, and how you're a very funny blogger (not that she's ever read one before), but she wasn't able to post since she didn't have a google ID and when she tried to get one and they said she actually DID have one, but she didn't remember her password so she reset it but then she never got the comfirmation email (probably got caught in her spam filter that she doesn't really know how to use) so she gave up for the night because she was falling asleep during American Idol. But, she did like it a lot and hopes you write more often.
I'm ok if you just put up pics. I try not to go onto facebook anymore, so you need to post them here.
Funny stories though. I can just picture the snake encounter. Ha ha! (or hee hee!)
